WINCHESTER -- No. 2 Lincoln-Sudbury flexed their muscles and avenged their 2018 Coaches Cup loss to No. 1 Hingham on Saturday, as the Warriors (7-0) held off a late surge by the Harbormen (6-1) for a 12-9 victory to claim the 2019 Bugbee Coaches Challenge Cup Championship and our Vitamin 1 Game of the Week.
L-S attackman Matt Ward led the Warriors with a game-high six goals and one assist and midfielder Johnny Herlihy recorded a hat trick and notched a pair of assists. Cooper Dainton and Jake Higgins each recorded a pair of goals for Hingham on the evening.
