BostonLax has been kind enough to help me fill some of this extra time I have on my hands by requesting a preview of the defenses that will be on display this evening. Out of deference to two exceptional coaching staffs, you won’t find any guesses of game plans below, on the off chance of stumbling on part of an actual scheme or matchup which they are planning to exploit. This is more of a general look at personnel, the seasons that both defenses have put together so far, and it will hopefully help set the stage for a phenomenal game.
