Bruce Lerch was a remarkable man. The rise of high school lacrosse in Massachusetts can, at some level, be directly connected to Bruce's love of the game and commitment to its growth. His death this past winter hit us all like a punch in the stomach. Bruce was a mentor to many and a friend to all. He molded BostonLax in his image and it grew into a fixture within the sport in the Commonwealth. I was lucky enough to learn under Bruce and watch him work. Three years ago he gave me a shot with BostonLax and I ran with it. He made me a better writer, and a better man, all while making sure that I kept improving in everything I did. With Bruce's passing the question of what was the futur
