READING - It's hard to justify calling the fourth game of the season a "statement game," but that's exactly what Tuesday's first round Player's Cup matchup against Needham was for Reading. Behind 19 face off wins from Tomaso Deluca, 14 saves from Finn Granara and a seven-goal run in the third and fourth quarter, Reading took the matchup of the Rockets 12-7. Needham's Spencer Chapman and Sean Reilly each had two goals in the loss. Reading (4-0) will face North Andover on Thursday, ironically enough in Needham. They're also guaranteed a game in North Andover on Saturday, whether it's for the Player's Cup championship or not will be up to them. Needham dropped to 4-2 and will play Melrose
