BURLINGTON - The No. 7 Needham Rockets' somewhat surprising run through the D1 playoffs isn't done yet. After knocking off No. 2 Lincoln-Sudbury in the Elite 8, the Rockets took down No. 3 Acton-Boxborough in a nail-biting 9-8 win at Burlington High School in the Final Four on Tuesday night. Needham (17-5) will now be playing the role of David when they face the three-time defending D1 champs St. John's Prep in the title game back in Burlington on Friday night (6:00). Another phenomenal season for A-B ends at 19-4. Sean Riley had four goals for Needham including the game winner. Reis Conway added two and Nick Ledbury, Spencer Chapman and Cal Sullivan all scored as well. Jack Curran
