The defending-champion Blazers finished an unbeaten season coming from behind to top a MegaMen squad 14-11, led by nine points from Marty Bowes and stellar goaltending from Joe Evans. The Blazers fell into an early 5-1 hole, were down 7-3 midway through the first half and took their first lead at 10-9 midway through the second half before doing just enough to hold off a gutty MegaMen squad. Bowe finished with 5 goals and four assists – Bowes’ second five-point game of the playoffs – while Garrett Naimie added four goals and assist for the winners.
