CHELMSFORD -- In a back-and-forth battle between top Merrimack Valley Conference teams, it would be the No. 26 ranked Central Catholic Raiders who would come out victorious, as they defeated the host No. 25 Chelmsford Lions, 8-7 on Tuesday evening.
Central Catholic junior midfielder Shane McInnis would score his third goal of the game with 10 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, breaking a 7-7 tie, and giving the Raiders their sixth win of the season.
