By Ryan Kilian @masspreps DANVERS -- The 2018 MIAA boys lacrosse season began on Thursday, as the St. John's Prep Eagles played host to the defending Division 1 State champion Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors. After building an early lead, in a defensively charged game, L-S fought off a furious St. John's Prep comeback, to hold on for a 7-5 victory. "St. John's Prep played great today," L-S head coach Brian Vona said after the game. "They pushed us on offense, they pushed us on defense, they pushed us at the faceoff X, and they are just a very good team."
