D2 S Finals: No. 1 Hingham Keeps Rolling
By Jake Levin @jakelvin477
MARSHFIELD—The MIAA should look into renaming the Division 2 South region simply, “The Hingham Invitational.”
Since lacrosse realigned for the 2013-2014 school year, the top-seeded Harbormen have not only won the bracket each season, they’ve won each championship game by seven goals or more.
Top-seeded Hingham (21-3) overcame a sluggish start vs. the third-seeded Bishop Feehan Shamrocks (15-5), pouring on eight straight goals at one point in the third quarter to runaway and hide with the sectional title, 13-6.
The Harbormen led just 4-2 at the half, and saw their lead trimmed to a goal on a Shamus Cochrane tally 48 seconds into the third quarter
