(8) Andover 11, (11) Acton-Boxborough 10 – Warriors win thriller over Revolution (VIDEO)

In an early season clash (and litmus test) between two Top 15 teams, No. 8 Andover won a shootout over No. 11 Acton-Boxborough at home, 11-10 on Tuesday night. The Warriors (2-0) led 4-3 after one quarter, 7-6 at the half and then found themselves in a 9-9 game heading to the fourth. Andover ended up taking an 11-10 lead with 2:02 to play and held on from there, despite some tense final few seconds where it appeared A-B may have tied it as the buzzer sounded, but an official called the Revolution for being in the crease.
