By Mike Flanagan @fLAno0  QUINCY -- The Winchester Sachems defeated the Medfield Warriors, 11-10 on Friday afternoon, to win the 2019 D2 State Championship, in a well-played, come-from-behind battle between two of the top teams in Massachusetts. Trailing for the majority of the first three quarters, the Sachems (22-1) fought back from an early 6-2 deficit, as Ryan McCarthy would net the eventual game-winner with 1:33 remaining in the game to defeat the Warriors (20-3), and lift head coach John Pirani's team to their first state title since 2000.
